Background

In public life she was Sharon Vineyard, an actress celebrated on Broadway and on screen and an Oscar winner, best known for the play Golden Apple. Roughly twenty years ago, while researching a role, she learned the art of disguise from Kuroba Toichi alongside Kudo Yukiko, and the two became close friends. She played both mother and daughter, Sharon and Chris Vineyard, because she does not age. Ran and Shinichi saved her life in New York, and ever since she has called Ran her Angel and Shinichi her Cool Guy. She is the one who forced APTX-4869 on Mary Sera on a bridge in London.
